Yumbii was started as a food truck serving delicious asian-mexican-fusion tacos, wings, quesadillas, and salads. The owners opened a small brick and mortar store, but when a corner space in a newly redesigned, stylish shopping center became available, they wanted to showcase a new look and updated brand, with a breezy, Venice-beachy vibe.

To keep things in a low-key vibe, we went with a vintage-feeling speckled vinyl floor in wide graphic stripes—like a beach-town grocery store, and we hired artist Lee Arnett to “tattoo” the building with a wonderful, slightly tribal black and white mural.

OH!!! And this all happened during the height of COVID.
